How promotion works
How do I get started?
List your race first — or, if it's already on the map, ask us to hand it over. When promotion launches, you'll open your race in My Events, choose Promote, and see exactly how it will look before you pay.
What will it cost?
A flat monthly price per race: no bidding, no per-click surprises. Founding organizers get a lower rate, locked for 12 months.
Where will my race appear?
At launch: a featured pin on the map, the top of the results for your area, and a pin that stays visible when runners zoom out. More placements are on the way, and founding organizers get each one included as it ships. Always only when your race matches what the runner is searching for.
Will runners know it's promoted?
Yes. Every placement is labelled “Featured”. Runners trust the map because nothing is disguised, and that trust is what makes promotion work.
How will I know it's working?
Your dashboard will show views, visits to your own site and saves every month, before and during promotion. Links to your site carry UTM tags, so you see us in your own analytics too.
Can I pause or cancel?
Yes. You'll be able to pause or cancel any month, with no lock-in: turn it on when entries open and off when they close.
Can any race be promoted?
Every promoted race passes the same human review as every other listing. Promotion buys visibility, never a place on the map a race wouldn't otherwise have.
